Further to my post last week: First Proxy Access Nominee Rejected on 'Control Intent' Grounds, GAMCO, which notoriously nominated the first proxy access candidate, filed this amended Schedule 13D yesterday indicating that the candidate had withdrawn and that GAMCO won't be pursuing proxy access:
Lance Bakrow informed GAMCO this morning that he has decided to withdraw him name as a candidate for Director of National Fuel Gas Company. GAMCO will not pursue Proxy Access.
