SEC Consideration/Approval of New Cybersecurity Disclosure Guidance Slated for Next Week

Further to this morning's post "Consider Your Cybersecurity-Related Disclosures" and yesterday's Society Alert report: "SEC Staff Working on Further Cybersecurity Disclosure Guidance," the SEC noticed an open meeting for next Wednesday to - among other things - consider the issuance of "guidance to assist public companies in preparing disclosures about cybersecurity risks and incidents."

The meeting begins at 10 am ET and will be webcast live on the SEC's website.
