The PCAOB is seeking public input into its 5-year strategic plan via a brief anonymous survey aimed at capturing stakeholder perceptions and experiences with a view toward whether and how the audit oversight body can improve its performance and relevance. The survey takes only minutes to complete and - assuming broad participation overall - appears to be a worthwhile exercise. Investors, auditors, financial statement preparers/issuers, audit committee members, and academics are encouraged to complete the survey by the May 15th deadline.
