SASB Alliance Organizational Member Glass Lewis announced today that it will integrate SASB's industry-specific sustainability accounting standards into its Proxy Paper research reports and Viewpoint (its vote management application) after the SASB standards are codified and in advance of the 2019 proxy season to help inform its clients' proxy voting and engagement activities.
Glass Lewis' Director of ESG Research Courteney Keatinge commented: "Many of our clients have adopted SASB standards as a mechanism to better understand the most pressing environmental and social factors for the companies in their portfolio. Incorporating that information directly within our analysis and software will provide useful context in a timely manner."
