Year-End (& Beyond) Audit Committee Considerations

By Randi Morrison posted 12-02-2018 09:27 PM

EY's "2018 year-end issues for audit committees to consider" identifies key financial reporting, tax, regulatory-related, and risk management issues and developments that audit committees should consider, and a series of targeted questions associated with each topic designed to facilitate the committee's review/discussion with the board, management, and the external auditors. Among other things, the report is a great tool to assist in populating the audit committee's meeting agendas. Each topic area is accompanied by relevant "Additional reference" links.

See also EY's "Leading practices for audit committees"; these audit committee resources guides from Wachtell Lipton, Deloitte, and KPMG (reported on in previous Society Alerts); and additional information & resources on our Audit Committees page.
