In this new post: "Driving Diversity and Inclusion—the Role for Chairs and CEOs," Russell Reynolds Associates' Diversity & Inclusion Practice team describes how board chairs and CEOs can drive diversity & inclusion in the workplace - at all levels, i.e., the board, management, and general workforce - based on its interviews with 57 directors and executives. The suggested sound three-pronged framework - expressed in the form of actionable principles to cultivate diversity and develop and maintain an inclusive culture - fairly considers the appropriate roles and responsibilities, and spheres of influence, of the board chair and CEO, individually and collectively.
