Institutional investors representing nearly $1.5 trillion signed onto this Investor Statement calling on companies to increase their disclosure on workplace equity policies and practices across gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other federally protected classes. The Statement reportedly is being sent by Equileap to more than 3,000 companies worldwide. According to Equileap, there is a significant gap between companies public commitments on workplace equity and their disclosures that support the attainment or furtherance of those commitments, which leaves investors uninformed on a material issue.
Current signatories include Arjuna Capital, As You Sow, Boston Common Asset Management, ICCR, Pax World Funds, SHARE, Trillium Asset Management, Walden Asset Management, and Zevin Asset Management. Additional investors are invited to sign on.
