Among the many other valuable takeaways from the Small & Mid-Cap Companies meeting at the Society's recent National Conference was this Disclosure Effectiveness presentation, courtesy of Society member Gibson Dunn's Aaron Briggs. In addition to imparting practical tips for better disclosure that thoughtfully consider the fact that smaller companies typically have limited people and other resources, the presentation includes a suggested Proxy Summary framework that simplifies the process of creating or enhancing this increasingly critical component of the proxy statement.
