Glass Lewis invited peer group submissions for the 2020 proxy season, which will feature a new proprietary peer group methodology used for its Pay-for-Performance Model and say-on-pay recommendations. The new methodology - explained here - is substantially different from the one used historically and purportedly may result in changes that impact Glass Lewis's recommendations. Even companies that plan no changes to their prior information or don't intend to disclose a peer group are encouraged to respond.
The submittal deadlines are January 31 for proxy filings through July 31, 2020, and July 31 for proxy filings through January 31, 2021.
