Latham's "Culture - A Practical Framework for Sustainable Change" serves as a practical toolkit to assist companies in translating the amorphous "corporate culture" concept to tangible action steps and concrete measures to promote, measure, monitor, incentivize, and evolve the corporate culture. The toolkit includes methods and metrics that companies may consider to qualitatively and quantitatively measure culture, as well as suggested approaches to monitor culture over time, a cultural self-assessment framework to assist companies in benchmarking their current culture, and much more. Importantly, the toolkit is adaptable to any organization.
Appendices include sample recruitment scenarios (to incorporate values and ethics assessments into the hiring process), sample focus group scenarios to help measure culture via dialogue, and questions for supervisors in assessing culture and the company's adherence to its values and conduct.
