In “Climate-Related Securities Suits May Increase With New SEC Standard,” Skadden provides insights, based on existing case law, into how climate-related litigation (which the firm anticipates may increase coincident with forthcoming SEC climate change disclosure mandates) may play out in the courts, and suggests three action steps for companies to mitigate the risks.
