Join your fellow members for a Society webinar on SEC's EDGAR Next Modernization, taking place on Thursday, February 27, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm (Eastern). In this session, we will discuss how companies can prepare their Section 16 filers, disclosure teams, and third-party filing agents for the upcoming changes, including new multi-factor authentication requirements for public companies and their officers.
During the webinar, panelists will share their insights on how they are preparing their executives and directors for EDGAR Next enrollment. Beginning March 24, companies and insiders may continue to use legacy EDGAR, even if they enroll in and begin using EDGAR Next. Starting September 15, all filings must occur in EDGAR Next and enrollment will be mandatory. After December 19, a new Form ID will be required to enroll in EDGAR Next.
Panelists will offer practical advice to companies on coordinating with their internal disclosure teams, other public companies that share directors in common, third-party filing agents, and brokers that process Form 144 filings. Panelists will also share checklists and other helpful resources (e.g., sample/example powers of attorney for account administrators, communications to directors) with attendees.
Panelists
Stacy Ingram, SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Floor & Decor
Luci Altman, Special Counsel, Cooley LLP
Jim Brashear, VP & Managing Principal Counsel, McKesson Corp.
While this program will be recorded, attendees are encouraged to ask questions in advance and during the program via the webinar's chat function.
